Beautiful original French seltzer bottle dating from the early 20th century, fitted with its original Michel Breveté S.G.D.G. Paris metal siphon head.
The bottle is made from striking turquoise-blue glass and features an exceptionally detailed acid-etched advertisement for Fortune Darras – Tourcoing. The elegant typography, decorative border and central rooster emblem give this bottle an unmistakable Belle Époque appearance and make it a wonderful example of early French advertising glass.
Originally used by a beverage producer in Tourcoing, the bottle retains its authentic siphon mechanism and displays an attractive aged patina. The vibrant blue glass and finely executed etching make it highly decorative, whether displayed in a kitchen, bar, cabinet of curiosities or alongside other antique bottles.
An increasingly sought-after collector's piece combining French industrial history, advertising and decorative glass in one exceptional object.
