We are selling this really interesting Chines export oval frame. This frame is carved from boxwood with heavily reticulated design featuring birds and flowers . This style of heavily carved boxwood is characteristic of the Canton export trade. The frame currently houses a heavy mirror with some wear/ghosting. Several breaks damages losses and splits to the wood.
Condition: Numerous damages/losses and some splits to the frame. One slightly unstable split that has been reinforced with a metal repair.
