A mid-20th-century Brazilian Prata Régia 90 silver-plated water or beverage pitcher, formed with a tapered bulbous body, flared pouring lip, twisted rope border and distinctive ribbed or coiled handle. The combination of traditional rope ornament and sculptural handle construction gives the pitcher a particularly decorative profile within Brazilian vintage table and barware.
The piece is marked Prata Régia 90. The identifying mark therefore supports attribution to Prata Régia and Brazilian manufacture while establishing the correct silverplate classification.
The surface retains vintage patina together with fine use wear consistent with age. The decorative rope rim and coiled handle remain clearly articulated, and the existing surface should be preserved rather than aggressively polished. Initialed C.M.
