Pair of authentic 1970s Hollywood Regency lantern-style table lamps manufactured by the highly collectible American Lamp Company. Standing a substantial 28 inches tall, these large-scale statement bases showcase an elongated, dual-hexagonal terrarium silhouette that perfectly bridges organic warmth and retro futurism.
Each lamp features twelve hand-fitted facets of moody smoky grey glass set into a structured, antiqued brass-tone geometric frame. The frames are bisected at the waist by an intricate, repeating filigree metal band and capped on the top and bottom by rich, stained solid oak trim.
Dual-Lighting Feature:
A hallmark of premium 1970s design, these lamps feature an internal candelabra socket hidden within the hollow smoked glass bodies. Operated via a multi-way switch, they allow you to illuminate the top bulb under the shade, activate just the lower internal bulbs to cast a moody, low-lit ambient glow through the smoked glass, or turn both on simultaneously.
Highly sculptural and perfectly balanced, this complete matched set is ideal for adding dramatic symmetry to a mid-century credenza, flanking a sofa, or anchoring bedside nightstands in a high-end vintage interior.
Note: Listing is for the pair of vintage lamp bases only. Harps and original American Lamp Company stamped brass sockets are intact. Lampshades are not included.

Excellent vintage condition with age-appropriate patina on the antiqued brass frames. The stained wood caps and pedestals are structurally sound with minor surface wear consistent with age. All 12 faceted smoky glass panels on each lamp are intact with no chips or cracks. One panel is missing a single tiny screw, but hold in place without it. The 3-way internal wiring has been tested and is fully functional. Bulbs provide proof all three light settings work in on lamp. Second lamp doesn't have bulbs in the lantern, but the electrical is working as shown in the lamp. See photos for the three way lighting.
