Japanese antique two draw coin tansu or box. Iron supports on corners and locks although no key is available but draws can be opened and closed. Produced probably in mid-1800s. No nails used but bamboo fasteners.
Unique tansu, easily to display and use for papers or coins. Bottom draw doesn't interfere with top draw which can be use for coins or multiple purposes.
