A rare pair of vintage club chairs designed by Ralph Lauren and manufactured by Henredon's Upholstery Division (High Point, NC). Full-grain aniline leather, cognac/saddle-brown, mahogany feet, original feather/down cushions (reversible leather/velvet pillow).
These chairs show normal wear consistent with their age and years of genuine use, natural patina, soft creasing in the leather, and gentle fading typical of vintage aniline leather. The set has been carefully maintained with leather conditioner and a protective oil treatment to keep the hide supple and healthy. This is not a "like-new" restoration, it's a well-loved, well-cared-for pair with honest vintage character.
Real Henredon tag still attached (see photos). These are solid, well-made pieces, not the flimsy stuff you find today.
