An antique four-tier painted wirework garden plant stand in the Victorian style. Based on its construction, materials, decorative wirework and comparison with documented period examples, the piece appears consistent with late 19th- to early 20th-century garden and conservatory furniture. Exact date, maker and country of origin are unknown.
Its graceful demilune form allows it to sit neatly against a wall, while four graduated wirework tiers create an unusually tall and architectural display.
Four graduated demilune shelves with approximately 14”, 12”, and 10” of clearance between tiers, bottom to top.
