Vintage Hollywood Regency Milk Glass & Antiqued Brass Plug-In Swag Lamp
A substantial vintage hanging swag lamp combining a large white milk-glass shade with beautifully detailed antiqued brass and bronze-tone metalwork.
The elongated tapered milk-glass body is framed by elaborate pierced metal galleries at both the top and bottom. Raised ornamental detailing, sculptural metal elements and a decorative lower finial give the fixture a distinctly Hollywood Regency character.
When illuminated, the opaque milk glass creates a warm, softly diffused glow, while small openings within the decorative metal galleries allow additional light to shine through.
Unlike a permanently installed pendant, this vintage fixture features a convenient plug-in design with an in-line rotary switch. Approximately 12 feet of hanging chain allows considerable flexibility in positioning and hanging height.
The lamp measures approximately 26 inches tall × 12 inches wide, giving it considerably more visual presence than a typical small swag fixture.
The original vintage metal finish retains attractive age-related patina and character. The white milk glass remains in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
The lamp has been tested and is fully functional. An incandescent bulb is included and may be replaced with an appropriate LED bulb if desired.
