The set includes two right-hand and two left-hand pieces, stamped “110 R.H.” and “110 L.H.”

Each brace measures approximately 23.25 inches along its longest side excluding the projecting tab, 13.5 inches across, and approximately 1/8 inch thick. Overall length with the largest tab is approximately 26 inches. The projecting tabs differ between the two matched pairs, measuring approximately 2 by 6 inches on one pair and 1.75 by 5 inches on the other. Combined weight is 15 pounds, 6 ounces.

Their exact original application and maker are unknown. They may have been used as decorative reinforcement on a large door, gate, frame, or other architectural installation. The warm aged brass surface, substantial scale, and mirrored right- and left-hand configuration make them particularly compelling for restoration, custom millwork, or repurposing as dramatic architectural accents.

Antique condition with scratches, scuffs, tarnish, discoloration, finish wear, and installation marks throughout. One right-hand and one left-hand brace have additional later-drilled mounting holes. One brace has a small chipped area at the edge of an inner mounting tab beside a screw hole; the decorative openwork remains intact. Mounting hardware is not included.
