The shaped, scalloped border is embellished with hand-painted gilt grape clusters, scrolling vines and leaves, giving the piece a wonderfully layered, traditional look.

The central composition includes roses, grapes, fruit and smaller blossoms in rich shades of red, blue, green and gold. Its large scale and shaped edge make it particularly striking displayed upright on a wall, propped on a shelf or bar, or styled on an ottoman or coffee table.

Constructed of metal with a black-painted finish. The reverse shows age-related scratches, rubbing and surface wear, while the decorated face retains strong color with attractive vintage patina. Please refer to photographs for condition. See less
