A commanding vintage table lamp with a sculptural neoclassical presence, this substantial 32-inch lamp combines genuine ceramic and metal construction in a sophisticated palette of softly mottled ivory and lustrous gold.
The body is shaped in an elegant urn form, with gently paneled ceramic sections that create subtle architectural definition. Applied metal scroll ornaments accent the shoulders, while broad metallic collars frame the upper body and tapered pedestal. A beautifully tiered, three-footed base gives the lamp a grounded, stately silhouette and reinforces its exceptional weight and quality. Unlike lightweight decorative reproductions, this is a remarkably solid lamp constructed from real ceramic and metal.
The lamp retains its original dramatic bell-form shade, measuring approximately 7 inches across the top and 19 inches across the bottom. Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear and patina. The substantial lamp is constructed from genuine ceramic and metal and remains solid and structurally sound. The ivory ceramic surfaces retain their original satin appearance, with subtle variations, faint marks and tonal movement consistent with vintage construction and use. The gold-tone metal components exhibit light surface wear, minor oxidation and mellowing appropriate to age, particularly around the tiered base, decorative mounts and collars. The original bell-form lampshade is included. Its missing lower fabric binding has been replaced with coordinating ivory trim selected to match the original binding along the upper edge. The shade retains minor discoloration, faint marks and other evidence of age but presents attractively with its restored lower edge. The lamp retains its amber-colored electrical cord, harp and coordinating acorn-form finial. Vintage electrical components have not been represented as newly rewired and should be evaluated according to the purchaser’s intended use and local requirements.
