A stunning vintage Chinese hardwood jewelry box, crafted from deep reddish-brown Huali (Rosewood) with beautiful natural grain.
The lid is exquisitely decorated with a vibrant green carved jade-like disc in the center, surrounded by four ruby-red cabochon stones set in brass bezels. Scrolling floral motifs made of iridescent mother-of-pearl inlay connect the stones.
The box features a traditional brass latch and hinges, which have developed a rich antique patina. This is a beautiful, functional piece of Asian art, perfect for storing precious jewelry, trinkets, or as a delightful accent piece on a vanity or desk.
