We bought this set outside Lyon and them re-upholstered by our local friend P.Main. The chairs all swivel and are height adjustable, some still have a bit of power left in the gas strut that powers the mechanism other need to be manually lifted but they all work and are practical. The original upholstery was pretty ropey so we decided to sort them out properly and can see them contrasting around a smart kitchen island. Height wise the lowest is 53 cm and the highest is 72 cm so a good middle height is 60/65 cm. Back supports are adjustable but they don't need it, they are comfortable with new foam under the upholstery. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
