These beautiful crystal Bacchus champagne coupes were produced in West Germany in the 1960s and 1970s by Rosenthal. The glasses with the distinctive decorative stem will add a festive touch to any table setting. I am also selling a set of 10 Bacchus wine glasses and a set of 8 of somewhat smaller Bacchus wine glasses.
Rosenthal was founded in 1879 by Philipp Rosenthal, who started the company as a porcelain painting business in Erkersreuth Castle in Selb, Bavaria. The company later expanded into manufacturing its own porcelain, becoming a well-known German manufacturer of high-quality tableware and household goods.
