Absolutely stunning!!
One of a kind!
Very rare and hard to find!
Restoration Hardware has replicated a 1920s-era lightbulb tester found in Germany and turned it into a bar cart for the vintage-industrial-minded decorator with a penchant for booze. The Sputnik-shaped iron orb hinges open to reveal bottle shelves, hooks for glassware, and a wine rack, or you can open a small hatch for a quick grab.
Measures (open) approx. 64” W x 67” D x 62 1/2” H. Measures (closed) 39” W x 47” D x 62 1/2” H.
Dating to the 1920s, a former light bulb-testing machine has been ingeniously repurposed as a bar cart to shelter spirits, slots for 7 wine bottles, and hanging glassware. The original, nearly a century old, was salvaged from a factory in Germany. Crafted of iron, a hinged segment opens to grant access to bottles and barware, while the small hatch opens, too. Crafted from solid iron with an antiqued finish. Elevated on a cast iron tripod base.
It holds glasses, bottles, and more. It has three shelves, each shelf measures 38" wide, and 19" depth. The unit weighs 250 lbs.
The tree leg stand can be unscrewed for transport.
