Composition 1971 is an interesting artwork realized by a great Italian artist of the XX Century, Leo Guida. The work depicts an abstract composition with a soft shape on the lower part. The drawing is engraved on the paper. It is a typical technique used by Leo Guida. The composition is totally abstract and, on the lower part, there is a kind of frame with vertical lines. This work has been realized by the Italian artist Leo Guida. Sensitive to current issues, artistic movements and historical techniques, Leo Guida has been able to weave with many generations of young people in the course of his career, a productive conversation on art and the function of the artist. He was a teacher at the Liceo Artistico in Latina from 1969 to 1985, and he trained many of the artists who today characterize the Italian cultural scene. Copious was his production of graphic works in which Guida showed all his talent for the techniques of chalcography, etching, aquatint and burin etc. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
