Restored 1950s mahogany dining table with two leaf extensions by Brown Saltman. With a maximum length of over 100 inches it accommodates up to 10 guests in fully-expanded form.
The tabletop rests on an elegantly sculpted base and expands with an integrated gear mechanism, allowing one person to open and close the table.
Although we've seen attributions to Paul Laszlo, we've been unable to definitively identify the designer. The inlaid grain patterns on the surface resemble other dining tables designed by John Keal. In any case it is equal parts rare and beautiful.
Expertly refinished to a medium walnut tone with few traces of prior use.
