Birth: Born in 1949 in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico.
• Upbringing: Orphaned young, he was raised in Guadalajara by his Chinese grandfather, who inspired a lifelong sense of fantasy and curiosity through hidden toys.

Education: Studied architecture at the University of Guadalajara, later leaving to pursue fine arts and crafts.

Artistic Evolution

Debut: Held his first major exhibition of paintings and papier-mâché sculptures at Galeria Misracha in Mexico City in 1966. e
