A stunning vintage Chinese carved stone seal/chop, made from high-quality Shoushan stone.
The stone features a beautiful, natural translucency with a warm blend of honey-yellow, amber, and reddish-orange hues.
The top is masterfully carved in high relief, depicting a dragon coiled above a meditating monk or Buddha figure seeking enlightenment, accompanied by a flaming pearl motif.
The lower portion of the stone features etched Chinese calligraphy (inscriptions) which adds to its scholarly character. This piece makes a perfect desk ornament, a paperweight, or a collectible for lovers of Asian Buddhist art.
