This is an impressive antique American Empire mahogany full sized four-poster bed featuring exceptionally tall turned posts, bold ring and spool turnings, a richly figured mahogany headboard, and substantial turned footboard rail. The dramatic proportions and warm dark mahogany finish make this an outstanding statement bed.
Solid and sturdy with cosmetic wear consistent with age, including veneer loss/damage along the upper edge of the footboard, as pictured. Includes headboard, footboard, and side rails.
