Description:
Presenting a beautiful and elegantly proportioned vintage Chinese porcelain jar. The jar is covered in a bright, clean white glaze and is exquisitely painted with a magnificent and highly auspicious "Cranes, Magpies, and Peonies" scene. It depicts two majestic red-crowned cranes standing on a grassy bank, while two magpies perch on a flowering plum branch above. The composition is further enriched by large, blooming purple, pink, and yellow peonies—the traditional Chinese symbols of longevity, wealth, and honor. The reverse side features elegant black calligraphy reading "富贵祥和" (Wealth and Harmony), accompanied by a red artist seal.

Provenance: The base bears a red seal mark reading "同治年制" (Made in the Tongzhi Period) and is accompanied by an important Marchant of London gallery label, showing a significant, long-standing history of collection.

Condition: Excellent condition. The glaze is vibrant and glossy with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The painted details are crisp and beautifully preserved. The Marchant label is fully intact. Please refer to all photos for exact condition.
