Description:
Presenting a magnificent and highly detailed vintage Chinese porcelain covered jar (or ginger jar). The jar is elaborately decorated with a dense, vibrant green geometric "brocade" ground interspersed with white prunus blossoms.

The body and the domed lid feature large, shaped white cartouches (open panels) enclosing exquisitely hand-painted "Figural" scenes. These panels depict elegant ladies, scholars, and playful boys in a traditional garden setting, dressed in vividly colored robes, surrounded by pavilions, rocks, and plants. The jar features a white glazed domed lid topped with a lotus bud finial.

Provenance: The base bears a blue seal mark reading "乾隆年制" (Made in the Qianlong Period) and is accompanied by an old European museum/collector's label reading "Chi'en-Lung 1736-1796", showing a significant, long-standing history of collection.

Condition: Excellent condition. The enamel is vibrant and glossy with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The painted details are crisp and beautifully preserved. The old label on the base is fully intact. Please refer to all photos for exact condition.
