Description:
Presenting a beautiful and elegantly proportioned vintage Chinese porcelain jar. The jar is covered in a bright, clean white glaze and is exquisitely painted with a magnificent and highly auspicious "Pheasant and Peonies" (锦上添花) scene. It depicts a colorful pheasant with a long golden tail perched on a scholar's rock, surrounded by large, blooming pink and yellow peonies—the traditional Chinese symbols of wealth, honor, and prosperity. A smaller bird is nestled in the grass below. The reverse side features elegant black calligraphy reading "富贵吉祥" (Wealth and Auspiciousness), accompanied by a red artist seal.

The base bears a red seal mark reading "同治年制" (Made in the Tongzhi Period), a traditional reverence mark.

Condition: Excellent condition. The glaze is vibrant and glossy with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The painted details are crisp and beautifully preserved. Minor surface wear consistent with age and display. Please refer to all photos for exact condition.
