## Description
This exquisite, matching mirrored pair of antique Art Nouveau hot-cast bronze sculptures was created by renowned German sculptor Franz Iffland (1862–1935). Circa 1900–1910, each piece depicts a young girl playfully interacting on a high-backed chair, featuring a rich, deep original dark-brown patina with beautiful natural highlights. Both pieces feature the verified, authentic incised hallmark "F. Iffland Paris" cast cleanly into the underside of the chairs

The original Art Nouveau dark-brown patina is beautifully preserved, displaying excellent depth and crisp contrast along the modeled details of the hair and drapery. Minor, localized surface patina thinning on one upper back shoulder reveals a glimpse of the warm golden bronze beneath, which is entirely consistent with age and gentle handling over a century of display. less
