Description:
Presenting a beautiful and charming vintage Chinese porcelain covered jar. The jar is covered in a bright, clean white glaze and is exquisitely painted with a lively "Swimming Fish" (游鱼) scene. It depicts several fish in vibrant shades of red, yellow, black, and white swimming among green water weeds and reeds, creating a serene and dynamic aquatic landscape. The reverse side features elegant black calligraphy reading "乐在其中" (Finding Joy in It), accompanied by a red artist seal.
The base is unglazed and bears a blue seal mark reading "玩玉" (Playing with Jade), a traditional reverence mark. The jar comes with its original matching painted lid.
Condition: Excellent condition. The enamel is vibrant and glossy with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The painted details are crisp and beautifully preserved. Minor surface wear consistent with age and display. Please refer to all photos for exact condition.
