The striking black lacquer finish retains its gorgeous, reflective high-gloss shine on both the front and reverse sides. Structurally, all four wood panels are entirely sound, straight, and stable. The original metal hinges operate smoothly and hold the screen securely at an accordion fold. There are no major structural cracks severe, chips to the wood, or missing stone elements. There may be minor faint surface scuffs and a small crack, tiny lacquer edge wear, or light aging to the brass feet caps, which is typical of authentic mid-century export pieces and only adds to its vintage character. less
