Beautiful vintage floral still life depicting a vibrant bouquet of dahlias and chrysanthemums arranged in a softly rendered ceramic vase. The painting has a wonderful mid-century modern / outsider-art character, with expressive brushwork, layered texture, and a muted yet richly colorful palette of rust, ochre, burgundy, cream, and sage green.
Presented in its original warm wood veneer frame, the piece has an appealing collected, lived-in quality that would work beautifully in an eclectic interiors setting, gallery wall, bedroom, or sophisticated country house.
A charming one-of-a-kind vintage painting with the relaxed, artistic character that makes antique and vintage interiors feel collected over time.
Dated 1975 on the back.
