Masterfully sculpted from dense, heavy European beechwood, each chair features a beautifully carved fan/clamshell scalloped backrest. The frames boast an elegant, light-colored cerused/pickled finish that beautifully highlights the natural, porous wood grain beneath. The round pop-out seat pads are comfortably upholstered in a neutral textured off-white fan/shell motif textile.

Because these feature sturdy modern late-20th-century joinery, they are physically robust enough to easily withstand daily formal dining use, unlike fragile 18th-century museum pieces.Perfectly capturing the essence of Palm Beach chic and Grandmillennial maximalism, sets of eight in this pristine configuration are incredibly rare and command top-tier pricing across luxury designer platforms.

Condition Details:

These chairs are in overall good vintage condition, with minimal wear throughout. Please note that two chairs have a very slight wobble, which should be easily corrected with a minor adjustment.

Light staining can be seen on the upholstery of most chairs. Minor age-related imperfections are also present throughout the set, including small wood cracks, light dents, and other subtle surface blemishes.

Overall, these imperfections are consistent with the age and normal use of a vintage set dating to the early 1980s and do not detract from its overall beauty and character.
