Wonderful vintage solid hardwood baker’s rack, butcher block workbench, and kitchen island, custom branded for the luxury department store I. Magnin.
The piece features a substantial built-in end-grain butcher block work surface, supported by four removable thick turned legs. Above the work surface is a tall open rack with an additional shelf and a row of five iron hanging hooks, perfect for displaying or storing cookware and kitchen utensils.
Below, a slatted lower shelf provides additional storage, while the decorative scalloped rack is designed to hold wine bottles. A wooden knife block is conveniently mounted along the side, adding another functional detail to this thoughtfully designed piece.
