The design is especially striking for its dramatically curved, almost scroll-like wooden arms, turned spindle supports, low platform-style seat, and tall open-frame back. Removable upholstered seat and back cushions soften the architectural wood frame, with three covered buttons adding a simple tailored detail to the back cushion.

The original textured upholstery is a quintessential warm burnt orange/rust tone that beautifully complements the honey-colored wood. Its combination of sculptural curves, turned elements, and earthy upholstery gives the chair an appealing mix of 1970s modern, rustic modern, and bohemian design.
