Excellent piece of Murano Italian glass, by noted craftsman Arnaldo Zanella. Assumed to be 1980s vintage.
Really fabulous hand crafted sculpture of the Lion of San Marco (aka Lion of Venice). Skillfully made, the piece is rendered in a clear glass containing burst gold foil. Excellent attention to detail, right down to the feathers on the wings.
Measures 10.75"x 3.5"x 8.75". No imperfections. In excellent, as made condition. No chips or cracks. Engraves signed "Arnaldo Zanella" to belly, undated.
