Made by the renowned Berkey & Gay Furniture Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan, this antique table has really great character and works beautifully as a library table, entryway console, sofa table, or statement accent piece.

Adding to its story is an original Gimbel Brothers New York retailer plaque, connecting this piece to one of New York City’s historic department stores. The combination of the Berkey & Gay maker’s mark and Gimbel Brothers label gives this table a documented history, while its warm oak grain and architectural details are a great match for traditional, English inspired, eclectic, and collected interiors.

Please keep in mind that this is a vintage piece. It’s not going to look fresh off the line. That being said, I’d like to point out some imperfections for the purpose of complete transparency. There is scratching throughout. There are imperfections on the top. There are imperfections on the sides and legs. There are imperfections on the body of the piece. The inside of the drawer is not pristine. Detailed photos have been taken for complete transparency.
