An exquisite vintage Chinese hardwood (Huali wood) jewelry box with a classic domed lid. This beautiful piece features a warm, rich wood patina and is elegantly decorated with fine mother-of-pearl (shell) inlay. The detailed inlay depicts a graceful bird perched on a flowering branch, a classic motif in Chinese art symbolizing beauty and good fortune.
The box is accented with aged brass hardware, including protective corner brackets, an ornate cloud-patterned front clasp with a traditional pin latch, and decorative brass accents along the sides. The dome lid opens to reveal a storage compartment (interior untouched, please check photos), making it perfect for storing jewelry, watches, keepsakes, or small treasures.
