This substantial piece features traditional Chinese design elements, including elegantly upcurved ends (flanges) on the top surface.

The front is adorned with intricate, deep relief carvings. The top row features four panels with circular motifs, while the lower section features four prominent panels carved with stylized characters representing the "Five Blessings" (Wu Fu) and longevity symbols. A beautifully aged metal pull secures the two cabinet doors. The piece is flanked by decorative, curving spandrels and features intricate openwork carving along the apron at the bottom.
