A spectacular signed hand-blown studio glass vase by internationally recognized Romanian glass artist Ioan Nemțoi (born 1964).
Substantial and sculptural, the thick-walled vessel features a brilliant translucent red body animated by sweeping ribbons and layered passages of cobalt blue, violet, yellow, orange, peach, green, and black. One side incorporates a constellation of fiery orange circular inclusions, while broad gestural bands wrap dynamically around the asymmetrical form.
The deeply saturated colors and expressive composition give the vase the visual energy of an abstract painting. Its appearance changes dramatically as it is viewed from different angles and under varying light, revealing considerable depth within the layered glass.
The vase has an organic, softly irregular silhouette with a narrow opening, rounded body, and sculptural asymmetric contour. The artist’s incised “Nemtoi” signature appears near the lower side of the vessel.
An exceptionally close published comparison—matching the artist, form, colors, signature placement, and approximately 10.5-by-9 -inch dimensions—has been dated to the 1990s and described as Romanian hand-blown art glass.
This listing is for the vase only. No separate glass display case is included.

Additional light handling marks and base wear may be present. Natural bubbles, slight asymmetry, color variations, and other irregularities are inherent to the hand-blown process and contribute to the individuality of the piece. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition report. less
