Temde is … Read more This striking temde model 120 floor lamp features a sculptural tulip-shaped design characteristic of the space age era. Temde is one of europe’s established lighting manufacturers and is particularly known for distinctive designs from the mid-century modern and space age periods. Its lighting designs of the 1960s and 1970s are characterized by clear geometric forms, innovative materials and a distinctly sculptural aesthetic.

the model 120 retains its original temde label and is fitted with a high-gloss orange metal shade canopy and a matt white diffuser. The lamp has three e14 sockets, suitable for standard led bulbs or conventional bulbs up to 60 watts each.

the stem, base and tulip-shaped shade fitting are made of satin-finished painted metal.

the lamp is in very good original condition. The shade retains an even high-gloss finish with only minimal, age-related signs of use, including a few minor scratches. There is no yellowing. The painted metal components show only very minor, localized paint wear. Please refer to the photographs for details.
