Larger and notably deeper than many decorative murano bowls, the piece has a generous freeform body with substantial rounded walls. Its softly asymmetrical profile rises to an undulating scalloped rim, giving the bowl a distinctly sculptural character from every angle. The two-color glass creates a particularly effective sense of depth. Milky opaque white develops gradually into pale blush pink before reaching the more saturated pink of the applied rim. Following the irregular outline of the vessel, this contrasting edge emphasizes both the depth of the bowl and the fluidity of its hand-blown construction. A polished base completes the rounded form. Made in murano, italy, during the 1960s, the bowl combines substantial proportions with an organic, expressive silhouette. Good vintage condition with light surface wear and edge wear. Small firing flaw to rim alongside some tiny chips to inside bowl. Dimensions: h 9 cm / 3.54 in × w 23 cm / 9.06 in × d 16.5 cm / 6.50 in this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
