This versatile and iconic entryway piece, inspired by the ingenious mind of renowned Italian architect and designer Carlo De Carli for the Venetian company FIARM, represents the perfect synthesis of elegance and transformability.
Designed between the late 1960s and early 1970s, it fully embodies the spirit of Midcentury Modern and Italian Modernism. During this period, Italian design explored the concept of "sculptural" and multifunctional furniture, capable of optimizing and enhancing space with soft, enveloping forms.
De Carli's mastery is evident in the curved woodwork: the semicircular doors hinge to form a discreet cylindrical volume, concealing a well-organized coat hanger with vintage hooks and compartments, while the front features an adjustable mirror and convenient built-in shelves.
