The sculptural combination of polished chrome, dark brown elements and cream-colored shades creates a distinctive Central European Mid-Century Modern aesthetic. The two light heads can be individually adjusted, allowing the direction of illumination to be changed according to use. The restrained proportions and functional articulated construction are characteristic of the practical modernist lighting produced in Czechoslovakia during this period.
