Charming vintage circa 1940s five-piece aluminum kitchen canister set featuring classic French pantry labels and beautifully aged surfaces.
The graduated set includes five coordinating lidded canisters labeled FARINE, SUCRE, POIVRE, SEL and THÉ for flour, sugar, pepper, salt and tea. Each features a textured body accented with delicate dotted borders, smooth bands and a wonderful stepped domed lid with raised knob finial.
The naturally aged silver-tone aluminum, dark lettering and graduated proportions give this set wonderful old-world character. Displayed together, the five canisters create a particularly attractive kitchen or pantry collection.
