Each spoon has been artfully transformed: the bowl becomes a broad, stable base while the handle sweeps upward and folds back upon itself to create an elegant loop for holding a place card, menu card or small photograph. The original flatware decoration remains beautifully visible along the handles, with delicate floral and foliate ornament providing a lovely counterpoint to the sculptural contemporary form.

The pieces retain their original Rogers silverplate marks, while the undersides have been individually hand-signed/inscribed by the artist. The result has the character of American studio craft or found-object art—a clever reinvention of traditional silver tableware that still feels entirely appropriate on a formal table.

Sold as a complete set of six, they would be particularly handsome for a dinner party, wedding or holiday table, and make an unusual addition to a collection of vintage silver and tabletop accessories.
