Kimberly is a restrained, traditional Gorham design with a beautifully proportioned handle, softly rounded terminal and subtle molded detailing at the neck. The simplicity gives the knives a timeless quality that works equally well with traditional silver services, English and American table settings, or more contemporary dinnerware.

Each knife measures approximately 9.75 inches long and pairs a lustrous silver-tone handle with a gracefully curved, non-serrated Gorham stainless-steel blade. The polished handles have the weight and presence of formal table silver without the elaborate ornamentation of many traditional patterns.

Particularly nice is the survival of the two original gray fitted Gorham presentation boxes, with black velvet interiors and the Gorham 1831 insignia inside each lid.

The set has seen remarkably little use. Four knives remain unused in their original protective sleeves, two appear as new, and only two have been used. The latter show light surface wear and tarnish/oxidation consistent with use and storage; please see detailed photographs. The boxes show minor storage wear.

A handsome set for a formal dining table, steak dinner or entertaining—and an attractive gift for someone who appreciates classic American silver design.
