Model 201 rests on a pair of distinctive V-shaped leg assemblies, making it one of Vodder’s most recognizable designs. The legs flare gently outward before narrowing to a stiletto taper, lending a sense of lightness to this otherwise substantial piece. A crisp beveled edge and subtly boat-shaped top further soften the geometry, adding visual interest without detracting from the table’s restrained Danish Modern character.

The table is newly refinished and the extension slides function perfectly. With the two included leaves, it expands to 117.5 inches, accommodating 10 guests comfortably. The extensions can be stored internally to the table when not in use.

The main dining surface is in excellent restored condition, with a pair of subtle touchups performed during refinishing. The original leaves had been lost to history when we acquired the table so we fashioned a new pair. When both are inserted, there is a ~2mm gap between the ends of the leaves, as pictured in the photo set. This does not affect use or stability in any way.

Note: Knee clearance at the ends of the table (27") is higher than on the sides of the table (25") due to the location of the extension slides. See less
