Description:
Presenting a magnificent and richly detailed vintage Chinese carved brush pot (Bitong). Crafted from a high-quality Faux Ivory (resin) material with a beautiful, bright yellow color and an incredibly realistic, natural-looking "ice crackle" texture (imitating aged ivory).

The exterior is masterfully carved in deep, dynamic high relief with a charming pastoral scene. It depicts a young boy riding on the back of a majestic water buffalo, walking beneath drooping willow branches. The buffalo is rendered with exquisite detail, showing its curved horns, musculature, and hooves. The reverse side features delicately engraved Chinese calligraphy and a carved seal mark.

Condition: Excellent condition. The material is solid and heavy. The carving is crisp, detailed, and fully intact, showing a beautiful natural patina consistent with age and gentle use. Please refer to all photos for exact condition.
