Description:
Presenting a magnificent and beautifully detailed matching pair of vintage Chinese painted enamel vases (copper body). Crafted with the fine precision of traditional "Yangcai" (Foreign Colors) enameling, these vases feature a classic, elegant silhouette with a scalloped, ruyi-shaped mouth rim.
The vases are set against a vibrant imperial yellow ground, intricately painted with continuous scrolling floral vines in shades of pink, blue, and green. The neck is decorated with striking blue and green plantain leaves. The main body features large, shaped white cartouches (open panels) enclosing exquisitely detailed "Bird and Flower" (Huaniao) scenes. One panel depicts a majestic, long-tailed pheasant perched on a rock with blooming peonies, while the other shows two graceful swallows in flight over a garden of peonies and scholar's rocks.
The interiors and flat bases are finished with a rich, bright turquoise (Robin's Egg) enamel. The bases bear blue square seals reading "乾隆年制" (Made in the Qianlong Period), a traditional reverence mark.
Condition: Excellent condition. The enamel is vibrant and glossy with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. The painted details are crisp and beautifully preserved. Minor surface wear consistent with age and display. Please refer to all photos for exact condition.
