A striking pair of sculptural floor lamps based on an original design by Tony Paul. Constructed from slender black metal rods with warm brass bases, the lamps rise in a dramatic tapered silhouette before flaring outward into geometric frameworks supporting the shades.
The open, architectural construction is characteristic of Tony Paul’s inventive approach to metal lighting, creating considerable scale and presence while retaining a remarkable visual lightness. Each lamp is fitted with opposing double sockets and a floor-operated dimmer.
Documented examples of this model have likewise been identified as part of a 1990s Miami hotel commission executed by HB Architectural Lighting from an original Tony Paul design.
Each lamp takes a 16-inch diameter x 16-inch tall round barrel shade; shades are not included.
