Striking and rare Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern dining room table in solid light Nordic oak (extension leaves are veneered) Made in Denmark in the 1970s by Gangsø Furniture.

This table remains in remarkable original condition and is super practical as both extension leaves can be stored inside the table when not in use.

Height: 73.5 cm
Length: 159.5 / 207.5 / 255.5 cm depending on number of extension leaves in use.

This oval table has a shaker base with T-shaped legs which is typical for tables from this period in Denmark. A sturdy and elegant design.
Tabletop and legs are made from planks of solid oak. Very sturdy and well made handcrafted extending table. A table from this period of this size, quality and design in oak is a rare find.
