Oak bookcase composed of two stacked elements, with open shelves and a base with four drawers. Scandinavian production, 1960s.
Oak bookcase composed of two stacked elements. The upper module features adjustable open shelves, while the base houses four drawers. The minimalist design is defined by the geometric structure, balanced proportions, and the absence of attached handles: the handles, carved directly into the fronts, leave the surface free of superfluous elements. The slender legs visually lighten the volume of the piece, while the drawers, assembled with traditional dovetail joints, demonstrate meticulous construction and careful attention to detail.
