It is an original American 20th century made example in a desired English Regency form. Table is made of rich vivid color Mahogany, standing on pair of pedestal ends. Top of the desk features a dark green leather writing surface, edged with gilt / gold border tooling. Table has four drawers on each end (side), flanking a wide center drawer on front (no drawers on the reverse). Each of the eight smaller drawers has a fine quality handle in the center, while the wide center drawer has a pair. Each drawer has a functioning English made lock, but there is no keys present. Desk is in good condition, light age / use wear - please see photos. Size is great for a house or apartment at 60" wide, 35.75" deep across, and 29.5" in height, while the knee clearance is 23" height. This will be a great quality addition to any serious collection, and a jewel in any traditional antique or vintage mid-century modern setting! See less
