Mahogany bookcase with two open compartments and tapered legs. Scandinavian production, 1960s.
The simple construction focuses attention on the quality of the mahogany and the balanced proportions. The rectangular body is supported by a base with slightly tapered legs, a solution that visually lightens the volume of the piece without interrupting its formal continuity. The surfaces highlight the rich grain of the mahogany, which enlivens the interior of the bookcase with a natural play of colors. Free of decorative elements, its presence is enhanced by the precision of the construction and the quality of the materials.
Good condition. May show signs of aging. Please refer to the photographs carefully.
